Rinku Singh-first MLB player born in India to pitch a win

For once some SOUTH love in sports!

It's true. Our south brothas haven't really gotten much chance to delve into our sports world, but this is a good start!

Singh came from humble beginnings. He was actually 1 of 2 winners on the Indian realty TV show "The Million Dollar Arm" where he beat out 37,000 contestants throwing the fastest pitch. After winning 100k from the show and riding the new found buzz over to the states he, along with runner up Dinesh Patel, were eventually signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

And his first game was a winner.

A Million dollar movement? m00g00.
