You may know Kal Penn from his stint on House or more notably the cult classic film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, but maybe its time to rethink him as Obama's right hand man! Well, not exactly. Kal has recently started his job working for Obama as a liaison to the Asian communities.
Kal, now going by his birth name Kalpen Modi for his white house position, is a much needed cultural and generational repsenative for the young Asian community. Obama is strategic in choosing a well-liked actor of our community to help his Asian awareness needs. Let's just hope he doesnt make any more "short" jokes about us with Kal around.
